Sadie Baby | 6 Month Sitter Session

Sadie’s mama contacted me off of Jacksonville Moms Blog and said she loved my clean, classic style that lets baby shine. She’s a busy working mom, so I thankfully had a weekend morning available for her and Sadie to drive on over and capture this halfway point in her daughter’s first year.

It was great getting to meet them both, along with Sadie’s nana, and mom was so impressed how I captured Sadie’s true personality as she’s generally a pretty serious baby around new people. There’s nothing better than getting down on a baby’s level and finding all kinds of things to giggle about!

Sweet, sweet Caroline. I recently had a lovely in home lifestyle newborn session with Miss Caroline. Caroline was a very sleepy baby, and so easy to work with. One of the great benefits of lifestyle sessions is that everyone, especially the parents, are more relaxed. These brand new little people can sense that their mamas and daddies are more relaxed, often making them more comfortable during the session. I also love having the opportunity to capture the beautiful nursery space that has been so meticulously designed. Every wall hanging, every detail perfectly picked as they prepared for their new love.

During lifestyle sessions, I am able to create elements of studio newborn sessions as well. These images of just baby are posed in more natural positions, like those in every day life. Of course, all the tiny details are captured from the wispy lashes to the cracked lips to the tiny fingers. All of these details are the ones that you will want to remember years down the road when your baby is at her first sleepover.

Little Cora was an absolute delight to photograph. CeCe, as her parents already call her, was a sweet little squish and had a perfectly crazy head of hair! One of the things her parents, Rachel and John, wanted captured was the little dimple on her chin. It is a darling little feature that she inherited from her daddy. We were able to capture it in so many different images. Highlighted with CeCe’s sweet smile is pure perfection. I was so happy to be able to capture it for her parents.

Capturing all of Cora’s little details was one of my favorite parts of her session. From her long, dark little lashes to her cracked lips, flaky skin to round cheeks, Cora was everything that I love about newborns. We were able to get so many beautiful images of CeCe in the studio. Then we decided to take advantage of the warm Florida air and go outside for the images of Cora with her parents. Rachel and John are so in love with their little Cora, and it really comes through in the images. Congratulations to the new family of three! I hope you love your gallery as much as I do!
