New parents Becky and Dave brought their sweet new babe to see me at the studio. I was so excited to work with Becky and Dave again after getting to know them during their maternity session in July. You can see some of my favorites from their maternity gallery here. Baby Charlie was so sweet and tiny, with just the right amount of squish. And oh so new at just 4 days old. He was also quite happy to be out in the big world, as he hardly stopped squirming! Charlie’s nursery is mint, navy and white so we incorporated those colors in his session. His mama even brought in a couple of blankets from his nursery to use!

I love capturing all of the little details of newborns. They change so fast – in the blink of an eye those new, tiny details are forever gone. I love that through my images, those little details will be forever remembered.

It is always an honor when one of our servicemen brings their new baby in, and I am able to capture an image that I know will be treasured by the entire family for generations to come. It is also a stark reminder of the sacrifices made by our servicemen, and their families, to protect this nation.
