I had only spoken with Stella’s mom over the phone, but she was so open and welcoming, and most-importantly, excited to have the opportunity for a Fresh 48 session. It was a last-minute decision, and while she already had a newborn photographer lined up, they didn’t offer this service.
Sweet Stella was actually born on my anniversary, and the next day, I was meeting them at the hospital to help introduce Stella to all their friends and family.

I can’t tell you what an honor it is to be in the room and chosen to do something like this. It’s a very casual and relaxed pace. We talk, I listen, and I watch, and I capture. It’s about 2 hours that I’m there with you. Baby will need to eat, and have diaper changes, and nurses will inevitably also come in, and sometimes insurance personnel as well . . . interruptions happen, and that’s part of it.
