Petra | 6 Days New

Sweet little Petra was a dream baby! I am not even kidding, she arrived at the studio sleeping and she left at the end of the session … still sleeping! At the beginning of her session, Petra brought along her big brother Lucas. Lucas was one of my first newborn sessions as I was building my portfolio, so it was pretty special to have him come back with his brand new baby sister! You can check out Lucas here in this post, and trust me when I say, he is a little charmer. He is also a little guy who knows what he wants, and on that day, being in front of the camera was not on his want list. So Petra took center stage and she is pure perfection.

Petra’s features are so delicate and sweet! And I LOVE a baby girl in blue! We were able to get through so many poses because Petra was such a sleepy girl! I love her on gold – not everyone can pull off gold!

I love detail shots. Newborn features change in the blink of an eye, and detail images give us a gorgeous reminder of just how little our baby once was. Of course, Petra’s beautiful features are stunning in black and white!

It was such a joy to meet and snuggle Petra, and see my buddy Lucas again! She is gorgeous, and congratulations to the new family of 4!!
